Tmobile and me have a very strained relationship. They screwed me over. A customer of over 6 years screwed the hell over. Ive had two situations with them over the past year and a half that has caused me a great deal of stress and grief and the most recent remains unresolved. -_-
Ive had AT&T but this was prepaid and about 4 years ago.
Ive had Cingular when it was still cingular and this was about 8 years ago.
Ive had Suncom when it WAS Suncom.(It was bought by Tmo in the last year)
Ive had a Verizon pager.
Ive had Boost, about 2 years ago.
I now have Sprint.
So far, the service is alright. So far, Im usually roaming in the most awkward places. In my room, I roam. In my desk area, I roam. In the train station, I roam. I will kill somebody @ Sprint if when I receive my bill they say some bull talking about how I roam too much and therefore are going to charge me. (I shouldnt have to worry since I do have free roaming but who knows? My relationship with cell phone carriers are VERY strained.)
Lets start with the fact I love blackberries. Before blackberry, I had a series of Motorola phones (WHICH I LOVED!), a samsung phone, and a sidekick. Later upgraded to a RIM BB Pearl, then a Curve(both with Tmo) and I now have the Tour with Sprint. This is my 3rd BB.
I am so used to having my blackberries(the Pearl and the Curve but mostly the Curve, never had an issue) be so flawless that I notice little things on the Tour such as a lag, battery issues and the trackball. THINGS THAT SHOULD BE ON THE NEXT UPDATE! Smh. These are things that shouldnt have been a problem to begin with. But then I remember how most RIM devices are fixed by their updates when they have issues like this. So Im patiently waiting. and waiting. and waiting.
*Its only really been a week since Ive had this phone. Im seriously being impatient. BUT ITS ANNOYING ME!
So Im contemplating staying with Sprint, as they offer the best pricing or going back to Tmobile and getting another new phone with them, this time under MY name.
Im actually trying to find a way to link you to Stephanie Faris' experience with cell phones... As soon as I find a way to do that, I shall link you to it.
I hope I dont have to wait as long as she had for her rebate. I WILL KILL SOMEBODY @ THESE CELL PHONE COMPANIES!
Ugh, what to do??? What a dilemma! What experiences have you had with cell phones? Have they been sucky, or overall great?
Update:: Steph F. was very nice to give me her link to the specific blog. Check it out! Thanks again Stephanie!

Well, as you know, I have Sprint. They aren't bad but Nashville's service must be better than other places. My boyfriend has AT&T and he's always dropping calls...but less so since he got his new iPhone. I think sometimes it depends on the phone too.
Here's my Sprint blog:

This is why I have Verizon.. a lil pricey but I have NO COMPLAINTS!!!
Except....
When I am in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene Area I do not have great service, but that is my only complaint.
As I said before.. I HATE SPRINT!
The funny thing is I cant really complain about Sprint's service. Only thing that bothers me is that I am usually roaming. How am I roaming in NYC??!
And Thanks Steph!
How we hate our mobile network's but they never improve as they know we usually have to come back
It sucks that we have to rely on cell phones now to keep in touch and in case of emergencies. I know that carriers realize that and thus making them reckless with how they treat customers and pricing etc.
