Ryan
Shes hiding something. She has been for a few months now. I know her so well. Messing around for 3 years now I should know her more than well enough. Im 25 years old, getting places and moving up to where I wanted to be for years now. But Ive got two walls and two doors. The day is coming where I have to choose and I dont know which one Ill go for. One girl is my dream. Shes sexy anmd beautiful in every way but I cant give her the time of day the way shed want me to. Why? There's this other girl, she was my dream, I was in love. I still have feelings for her but things just keep sliding between great and terrible. I cant be happy with her anymore. Im part to blame. I cant put it all on her but Im man enough to own up to my actions. I know I havent been the best but she was just as bad. Its just that I started it. And now Im stuck. I fell for the girl who I shouldnt had moved any closer to. I shouldve stopped things when we had a chance. I should have ended things the same day I had them together in the same room. Im probably better off by myself than have two women both of whom I dont deserve. One who is too good for and to me and the other who I am slowly seeing more like a friend than something more.
The night had come, and the girls were in different ends of the room when he had come in. "What to do? Say hi to everyone first, leave the girls for last? Or do the complete opposite by saying hi to one first, greet everyone else then say hi to the other one? That sounds like the better idea." Ryan's thoughts jumbled as he struggled to figure out how to play this and how the night would turn out. He felt like everyone was looking at him and seeing what his next move would be. He walked in and went one by one to everyone he knew. "No one would suspect a thing", he thought. As Ryan walked on, he realized, that Angel was looking so beautiful that night. She was dancing and having a good time with a drink in her hand and doing her thing. She didn't even notice his entrance. That made things so much easier for the moment. He walked over to his boys and finally greeted his girlfriend. She seemed upset but lit up when she saw him. Who knows what was wrong now? A minute later, walking over to the bar, he didn't know what to expect from the night. He was relaxed but inside he was anxious. He wanted to just end things completely at this point. It wasn't fair anymore.
Angel noticing he didn't bother to come over to her, took a break and sat down in her seat. "So that's how he is going to act, huh?" She thought. Her dance partner came over with a couple drinks and offered her one. She refused. She was still nursing the one from before. She wanted Ryan to come over. She wanted him to hug and kiss her the way she knew he wouldn't. He might think she didn't notice but she knew how the girlfriend was feeling before and after his arrival. Angel knew how she was feeling, and wondered if Ryan was feeling some kind of way himself. He wouldn't show it but she could feel it in his vibe.
Once Ryan had his drink, he returned to his friends and knew he might be in trouble with Angel. He knew her too well. The games she played and the bullshit she sometimes gave him, all with reason, he knew. "I'll wait till she returns to the dance floor. She won't last too long without shaking her hips." He was right. Soon as he thought it, Angel started getting up and moving to the music. She was feeling it all right. She'd never tell him, but he knew she had something for that "good time." It'd be a lie for him to say he didn't want her more than ever at that moment.
