We stayed at the hotel for a week. Ana would leave in the morning, get food, come back and roam around the hotel. I kept contemplating on my ill feelings of her being with me. I didn't want her with me and I was going to do something about it.
Tomorrow night I was leaving. She will have to make it on her own. I already knew the route she was going to take and I hoped internally that all would go well for her. I'd have to check in on her in a few weeks after my abrupt departure. I spoke to the hotel associate who was taking care of my bill for the room. I set her up to stay another 3 days. That was ample enough time for her to do what she needed to do to get home.
After taking care of the hotel bill, I went to the bank to get some cash. I wasn't going to leave her broke and I needed some money for myself when on the road the next few days. I wasn't sure how long it would be till I stopped driving next.
When I got back to the room, Ana was watching TV. I had two bags upstairs. One of which needed to get packed and taken down. She's a heavy sleeper so I could easily just leave in the morning and she wouldn't notice. After that, she'll have her 3 days. I sat down on my bed and thought about what I was about to do. She might hate me for a while, but she'll forgive me soon enough. She'll understand, I hope.
