Group Blog: My first Job

My first job was working during the summer in my HS with the incoming freshmenas an intern. The juniors-turning-seniors and several sophomore-turning-juniors were a part of this summer task. To this day, I'm not sure @ all how I got this job. I dont. I remember looking at all these brats soon to be the same freshmen that my classmates would pick on and wonder ...

WHY IN THE WORLD WERE THEY SO ANNOYING?

For God sakes, they should not have been this annoying or disrespectful. I had a lot of love for them. They were all cool but in the class, a computer class that prepped them with how to work with Powerpoint, they were terrible. Made me want to smack them upside the head a few times(and I did.)

It wasn't a GREAT time, not too memorable but it was definitely some kind of time and the money for what I was doing was not horrible in the slightest bit. $700 bucks and a metrocard. That was definitely an awesome pro to that job.

Sorry its not any more exciting. But trying to dig for this story was difficult! Hope you enjoyed. What was your first job?

Thanks for participating! I think, no matter what your first job, you find yourself asking "Why are they so annoying?" at least once a day. You learn a lot about dealing with the public...and why you should get as much education as possible so you don't have to spend your life dealing with them!

I think you learned to have patience with that job. Personally, I knew that I would never teach because I don't have the patience to deal with idiots and lazy people.

I doubt very many will say that their first job was exciting. Mine sure wasn't.
