So here we are again at Thanksgiving, reminding me that another year has gone and soon coming to a close. Thanksgiving... A holiday Ive celebrated in my very Americanized life. I wonder sometimes if I were to have been raised in PR would I be having a Thanksgiving. Would I be saying "Happy Pork day" or Happy "Oink Oink" instead of Happy gobble gobble or Have a Happy Turkey Funeral Celebration???
Anywho...
Im grateful for a dozen things... But this year I feel as though Im not grateful ebyond the obvious. The obvious being:
-Family
-Friends
-Health and Food
-The privilege of school
-Having a home to come to in these hard times
-Having enough money to get by in these hard times
-No deaths to deal with (even though some are expected and pending... in other words just coming)
Truly, I have been blessed, yes. But I still feel as though besides these things which are the obvious, there is nothing more to be grateful for. And yes, I could list detailed lists of everything obvious but whats the point?
Ive thought of this every night this week. AND the answer to that question is... Im grateful for my fellow bloggers and readers. If it werent for you, I wouldnt be contemplating chasing a dream that has been resurrected. So thank you guys for being loyal readers. ;-)

Oh and an afterthought... That Im not popping out a baby this year either! WOOHOO Now THAT I am really grateful for!
