I'm the kind of person that enjoys being alone more than being with people. I have my phases where I like having company but I am very picky about the company.
Dont judge me.
Anyway, so I was thinking about why this is true for me and since I also like going places alone, mostly the park, I realized I like people watching.
Again, dont judge me.
I like looking at people and criticizing and if they have kids, oh the criticism becomes a tad--- TEN LEVELS--- mainly, cause, well, people don't notice when they are being watched. Yup. I said it. We don't notice it.
And when we do, it's when they already have turned away to show that they are not being rude and staring. (This is probably either a country thing or a very NYC thing... I am SO NOT THE ONLY ONE... am I?)
So anyway, I realize there a few things that annoy me.
Like voices. Some accents are just straight up annoying. For example, someone at my job. This ... thing... lets call her BOB, well, she has an Italian brooklyn "I think I'm hood but I grew up in Bensonhurst" accent. Now think of that accent with a mesh of Valley girl talk. Yeah, I said it. Valley girl.
"Like OH my God, Larry didn't you know that we would like so die in like 2012?"
*wants to die... RIGHT NOW!*
This morning I had the "pleasure" of listening to her voice for 20 minutes straight thanks to our slow fax machine. FML. I wanted to die. My veins popped and the nearest sharp object was a straightedge used for opening envelopes. I swear to you it looked so enticing. I went to my office twice trying to escape Bob's voice. But Bob's voice could be heard clearly from my office.
Why do we need people like this? ESP in an office environment? (Bob should've gotten fired for stealing my fridge. Just saying!)

I'm with ya, girl. Some peoples voices just make my skin crawl! Like my bosses voices, and my coworkers voice.....
Accents don't bother me much, unless I can't understand them, like Asian and Indian accents. Once I know what they're saying, it's all good.
What annoys me is whiny high pitched voices! eeek! I just want to bust a lip!
Accents are okay with me, just how people have some voices (like those cocky, stuck-up popular girls in cartoons). I also hate when people try to act bigger than you: bigger isn't always better....
