My.. errr... umm... tacky christmas tradition that I cant stand is... Listening to christmas carols on the radio. in sotres. in passing cars. on christmas lights. on the spanish radio (But those are actually nice to listen to, theyre not repetitive. LOL)
These english christmas carols are so DAMN annoying. OMG. I cry... and belch... @ the same time. I even fart to drown out the music... Just because Im THAT annoyed. I cant stand them. And unfortunately, everywhere I go I have to hear them especially now that my ipod is missing (and Im quite broken up about it...) I HAVE 2 to listen to it.
Maybe if I cover my ears... No that doesnt work.
Maybe earplugs? Ill fall asleep on the train and end up in Far Rockaway.
Maybe, just maybe, Ill take the bus for the rest of the holidays until the christmas spirit is over, but someone will just begin to sing along to Mariah carey's "All I want is you" bullshit.

After coming home from the town's Christmas Parade last week I had that annoying Mariah Carey song stuck in my head, but I had the words wrong, and I thought they were "I don't care too much for Christmas" which I thought was kind of weird for a Christmas song. Apparently they are, "I don't want a lot for Christmas." Not as much fun in my opinion. Oh well. I am a fan of offbeat Christmas tunes, and unfortunately most of those don't ever get played on the radio
I love Christmas music, and I love that Mariah Carey song, but I totally get why people get sick of it!
I like Christmas music but some of it gets OLD. Last year I did a countdown of the worst Christmas songs ever. "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney was number one in my blog. The cheesy 80s synthesizers make it SO dated. It just seems to not fit anymore, but they wear that sucker out.

At least you don't have to work where you hear it 8-9 hours a day EVERYDAY and EVERY WEEKEND!! like i do at my job, and some of my co-worker look at me in "mean way" just because I'm not singing, the same freaking song been playing for the last 5 hours!! the only song i could never get sick of is the songs from charlie brown Christmas, cause that my favorite.
Christmas carols wouldn't be so bad if they didn't start in mid October =/
I love Jose Feliciano's Feliz Navidad. I can hear that shit over and over again.
I also love Oh Holy Night by Celine Dion.
